Through preaching and worship, friendship and caring, programmes and play, the people and ministers of Southminster seek to make the good news of God's love vibrantly evident in old Ottawa South and throughout the Ottawa-Carleton region.
We believe that people are longing for a relationship with God; that they will find in the Bible and in the life of the church, a basis for self-worth and hope; and that the universal need for love, meaning and relationship with other people may be met in the community of the church in general and Southminster in particular.
All of this is part and parcel of the ministry of Southminster United Church.
